Crazy 8
The Crazy 8 item is a new item featured in Mario Kart 8. It spawns 8 different items that circle around you, which can be used at any given time or have other racers bump into your belongings, much like the Lucky 7 in Mario Kart 7.

The 8 items that are given to you when landing on the Crazy 8 on the Item Roulette include the Banana Peel, Green Shell, Red Shell, Blooper, Mushroom, Star, Bomb-omb, and the Coin.
