The Morality Core is one of GLaDOS's personality cores in Portal. It serves the purpose of keeping GLaDOS's murderous tendencies under control. It was first installed when she went rogue and started flooding the Enrichment Center with a deadly neurotoxin.
In Portal, GLaDOS detaches the core in hopes of getting Chell to incinerate it. Once she does so,she procedes to flood the Enrichment Center with neurotoxin once again and activating a Rocket Sentry.
Her voice also changes subtly. It becomes smoother, less computerized, and almost human.
