Channelers are a type of Pokémon trainer who appear in Generation I and its remake. They specialize in using Ghost Pokémon. They are found in the Pokémon Tower of Lavender Town and often say strange and disturbing things to the Player, as well as exhibit strange behavior. In fact, it is suggested that they are posessed by the Ghost Pokémon living in the tower. Once defeated, they promptly apologize for their behavior.
