Super Horn
What exactly is the Super Horn, you might ask? Well it's an amazing new item in Mario Kart 8! With this new item you can finaly conquer that pesky Spiny Shell!
Shell Killer[]
The all new Super Horn in Mario Kart 8 is a large red box with a golden horn in the front that sends off a shock wave destroying every item in your way and flips over every racer who dares to challenge the mighty Super Horn! You can pick up this mighty weapon by simply passing through an Item Box and using the item when a Red Shell or Banana Peel gets in your way to immediatelt destroy it, and best of all, destroy those pesky Spiny Shells!
Offense and Defense[]
The Super Horn can be used in all sorts of beneficial ways, as well as ways that may not be in your favor. If you use it on the main track you can, of course, deflect any incoming obstacles and projectiles, but you can also use it to hurt other players. If a racer is within a certain radius of you and you use the Super Horn, a sound wave will travel to the other racer and send them spinning out. However, if you use the Super Horn while in Anti-Gravity you will, instead of causing other players to spin out, cause them to get a boost, much like they would if they bumped into you under the same circumstances.
MK8 Testing Facility[]
Nintendo released videos all about the new items in Mario Kart 8 in the theme of a testing facility. These videos, of course, were called the "Mario Kart 8 Testing Facility." This here is the video they released for the Super Horn:
